Mass MoCA Workshop Day 2

Today we dove right into the material, starting with Patricia the Marketing Director — in working out more of her backstory, we took a fascinating look into the late-1990s Argentinian economic crisis. The gestures of an open outcry trading floor were introduced to our actors, who practiced the language of buying and selling commodities before walking through of the trading round ticket sales mechanism. We made progress on some of the songs, and started working on new material and rewrites from Eisa, Erin, Qui and Robert. Along the way, we grappled with the finer points of currency paper security features, counterfeit Supernotes, paper and technology monopolies, and the surprising relationship between the Secret Service and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing
